Carl Edwards crash at Talladega Seven NASCAR fans attending Sundays 499 Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway suffered minor injuries after Carl Edwards car went airborne and crashed into the protective fence. Edwards crash occurred in the final lap of the race. The car flipped 15 feet in to the air and hit the protective fence separating the track from seating.
