In what appears to be a half filled with die-hard NASCAR fans, #24 Jeff Gordon, slips and slides around the track and kept #42 Jimmie Johnson from passing him in the final 7 laps. Dirt track racing experience helped in this race, that was RED FLAGGED, due to mist and drizzle, affecting the road surface. Absolute thrilling two-car race to the finish.
