What Nascar driver was married at the Martinsville speedway I think in 1981?

Miss Debbie Benge was married in
Pre-Race Ceremonies to Driver
Morgan Shepherd during the Fall
Cardinal 500 Classic with 14000
in attendance.Shepherd finished second
in the Race NO WINNERS

Ive looked all over for this and my eyes are burning from reading, The only people that I found that were married around that time was Dale and Teresa Earnhardt and it was in 1982 but i couldnt find anything about Martinsville Speedway.
