F1 has world champions,why doesn't Nascar?
I thought the baseball tounament was named after a newspaper? so they are not real world champions, other countries have to compete to make it so.

oops. Sorry about that.
Everybody's right about the International thing. But every other American sport they call them world champions. None of it makes sense.

F1 is an international championship whereas Nascar is only a US championship

Nextel Cup doesnt have any "World" events that would warrant naming a World Champion. the Busch Series does have races in Mexico and Canada so they could posibilly have a North American Champion but with only 2 events held out outside the U.S. there isnt much of a point. So until there is more internation events added to the schedule there will be no World Champ of Nascar

NASCAR is only the USA. They tried exhibition races in Japan, way to expensive to go and come back.

that is a good question, although F1 goes all around the world. in baseball they have the world series where a world champion is decided. in the super bowl they declare a world champion of football and the type of football is only played in the states. it is a good question
