Am I crazy beacuse I prefer NASCAR or INDY instead of Formula one?

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

We must accept it. NASCAR and INDY are two great categories, where the champion is never known before the last race of the season. There are no dominant teams. In Indy, Rahal, Penske, Ganassi, Andretti, and the other teams have the same probability to win. In F1, Those RED CARS always take the title. The same thing but with different drivers' names.

You're not crazy. F1 races are just not exciting. Once the first lap is over you pretty much know how the race will end. NASCAR & Indy put on better shows and keep you tunned in. F1 is all about technology, I think if they could run F1 with robots they would. Keep watching NASCAR and Indy for an exciting race, if you need a nap turn on a F1 race. :-)

How Far will Nascar go to protect the large Teams?

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Nascar should take a long look at how they run things. The top 35 drivers sucks. Just look at Talladega. Look at the driver who Qualified well and didn’t get a chance to race. My thoughts are Nascar should make Qualifying mean more than showing up running a Qualifying lap and knowing al;ready your in and bumping someone else who’s giving it all to make a name for themselves. Nascar should give points for qualifying like they do for the race. If there are 43 cars in the race you qualify on the poll you get 43 points you qualify 43 you get 1. If you don’t make the top 43 cars you go home. No top 35’s, No past champions, this would to me make Nascar a more far sport. Yes I would like to see all the super stars in Nascar do well but Nascar has become all About the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ from all the sponsers. I’m a big Nascar fan but some time I just don’t get Nascars view of helping the like guy or the small or1 car teams. Thanks for letting me vent some, and look forward to seeing your response.

Nascar should use the Busch (Nationwide)Series and CraftsmanTruck Series better. They shouldn’t let the top 20 drivers race in them. If you look ARCA doesn’t let the top 20 drivers in theCup series race.I know this hopes the team get some info but it should be for the up an comer to be the stars of nascars future today. I know you will say the sponsers will not be there then but just look at this . Denny Hamlin Replaced Aric Almoria who was leading the race just because the sponsers wanting Denny in the car. That would be like replacing Jeff Gordon with Robby Gordon or Jimmy Spencer. Both are good drivers but I don’t think that would happen.there a lot of Different Racing series That are good series. Maybe Nascar Should Divide into Four areas ie: winston west, north , south, east . just like football, baseball, basketball, then make a playoffs with the top 10 driver from each group in the CHASE for the Cup 10 race and have a points system just them.

Then the rest of thr driver can also race in the different series for the rest of the season. this would like everyone get a chance to race all over the country at tracks that are no in Nascar now or tracks that Nascar doesn’t Go to any more. This would make Nascar a more Liked sport.and bring in more and more talent. Do this with the Busch (Nationwide),And Craftsman Trck Series This would give all the driver and teams allover America and the world a chance to race each other. Because you can see Open wheel drivers are here now. And yes put some dirt track racing, road course racing into the mix. If Nascar looking for the best this would bring the best.

Yes I’m saying if Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, Dale Earnhardt jr., Mark Matin etc. dosen’t qualify them go home.

I agree with you on the top 35 rule, its not exactly qualifying to me unless you actually have to qualify. I dont know how many times this year that the top 43 cars were not in the field come race time due to the top 35 rule and past champs provs. Its a stupid rule, and it wouldnt bother me at all if Stewart, Johnson, or Gordon missed a couple of races because they couldnt qualify or wrecked during qualifying. What the top 35 rule does is lock new teams out of the first 5 races of the season and makes it harder for them to continue in the sport. Looking back at the years qualifying you can see that the new Toyota teams for the most part would have qualified in almost every race that they were not in on speed if not for the top 35 rule. Its stupid and is only there for the TV guys, and the sponsors.

Who thinks a cheater should be NASCAR champion?

Maybe NASCAR should ban cheaters from the Chase (like NCAA does with tournaments).
